The new app was built in collaboration with the fleet owners and comes with a simple design that provides with a complete end to end experience with the better latest technology, greater usability and with the latest new advanced features.

“Fleet owners enable more drivers to get behind the wheel and earn a livelihood using the Uber App. Today’s launch of our redesigned Uber Fleet app is the combination of research with owners and local knowledge to help fleets manage and grow their business,” Daniel Danker, Head of Driver Product, Uber, said in a statement.

Some of the new features of the fleet app include a live map, which helps the user to easily track the status and monitor the safety of the driver partners and vehicles in the real-time scenario. There is a new feature with the name as ‘Fleet performance’ where the fleet owners can view the trips, fares and quality metrics for the entire fleet in just one simple view.

Uber fleet also allows individual people to operate their own business which is much more similar to the taxi or livery company with the help of company software system.

Since rolling out the app in the beta phase as of now, the company is closely monitoring how the people use the app and how this translates to the fleet owner’s business performance and overall cycle.

Fleet owners can simply download the app from the Google Play Store and log in with the help of same credentials they use on the Fleet partner web portal.
