After ridiculing Apple for ditching the headphone jack, Samsung is all set to remove the port on the upcoming Galaxy Note 10. While the move may not go down well with Samsung supporters, the company may just do something to sweeten the blow.
It is widely reported that the Note 10 will come bundled with Type-C earphones and also a USB-C-to-3.5mm converter. However, some leaks have suggested that early buyers of the Galaxy Note 10 could have some wireless Galaxy Buds come their way too.
A leak from well-known insider Evan Blass on Twitter a few days ago was spotted by BGR. The image in the tweet shows text from Sprint (a telecom company in the US) that calls the device “DaVinci” which is Samsung’s internal name of the Note 10. The image shows the device and the S Pen next to it which proves that the device is indeed the Note 10.
The interesting bit is what is shown in the rest of the image. There are a few accessories next to the device, like a wireless charger, Galaxy Buds and the Galaxy Watch. It is unclear whether all the accessories will be included with the Note 10 during pre-orders. It is also unclear whether the promotional offer is from Samsung or Sprint.
According to a German blog WinFuture, Samsung will be shipping the Galaxy Note 10 with USB-C earphones in the box but should the tech giant also offer Galaxy Buds with it will be a great bonus for consumers.
Galaxy Note 10 themed Galaxy Buds
Another leak that could potentially confirm the above rumours is that Samsung put up Galaxy Note 10 themed Galaxy Buds on its website. The colour of the Buds matches the rumoured gradient version of the Note 10.
The new Galaxy Buds were spotted on Samsung France but you can’t buy them yet. Moreover, the colour doesn’t have an official name either at the moment. However, rumours have suggested that it will be called Aurora Glow.
As it always is with leaks and rumours, it is better to take everything with a pinch of salt until the company confirms anything. Samsung is expected to reveal the Galaxy Note 10 within a few days on August 7in New York. Stay tuned for more updates.
